Auburn T-Ball Team Update (as of 3/6/21)
by posted 03/06/2021

Happy Saturday Auburn T-Ball Team!

I have been notified by the league that our roster has changed a bit, so I wanted to re-send the below email with all the details you need.  Also, we are still in need of 1 more assitant coach and 1 COVID coach.  Thank you for those who have volunteered already.  Looking forward to the season starting.  Right below are some schedule reminders.  Let me know if you need anything.

  • March 12-15 = LSLL Day at Dick's Sporting Goods. You can stock up on supplies, equipment, and uniform parts with discounts during this special time. You should already have an email in your inbox with details.
  • March 20 = Practices begin for our AAA/AA/A Minors divisions as well as our Rookie/IR/TBall beginner divisions
  • April 10 = First game of the season!
  • April 24 = Spring pictures
  • June 5 = Playoffs begin for our Majors/AAA/AA/A divisions. Our beginners divisions continue regular season play through June 12.
  • June 12 = Championship Day and season end

---------------

Hi Parents,

My name is Brian Kramer and I would like to welcome you and your child to the 2021 Spring baseball season for Loudoun South Little League!  I will be your manager for the T-Ball Auburn Team.  This is my first season as a T-Ball coach, but I bring a wealth of baseball knowledge as I have played baseball from age 4 all the way through college.

The schedule is still being finalized and will be posted to our team website soon.  There will be no activities during Spring Break (March 27 - April 4).  They are targeting to get practices started in late March and games will begin with Opening Day on April 10. Please make sure your medical waiver and concussion forms are completed before our first practice.

At our first practice, your child should have a glove, cleats, helmet, protective cup, bat, and plenty of water to drink.  Little League only allows bats with the USA BASEBALL stamp/certification on them.  Per COVID regulations, please tell your child to keep their equipment to themselves.

As the Auburn Team, our color scheme for games will be orange jerseys, white pants, orange belt, and orange socks.

The league will provide our game hats and jerseys, but parents are responsible for purchasing game pants, a game belt, and game socks.  Dick's Sporting Goods is holding a "Gear Up For The Season" event from March 13-15 and you can get 20% off your purchase.  This is a great opportunity to pick up our team apparel.

Volunteers are needed!  I need assistant coaches to help run practices and games smoothly.  I am looking for 3 parents to volunteer as assistant coaches.  Having those extra hands ensures each child gets the appropriate attention.  It is also a lot easier to work with the kids for certain drills when we split them up into smaller groups, allowing them to focus more on the drill.  I also need a  "COVID Coach" who will make sure the kids practice social distancing whenever they are in the dugout area, ensure COVID questionnaires are turned in, and help squirt sanitizer on the players' hands when they are done at activities. If you are interested, here is a link to the LSLL volunteer form: https://www.leagueathletics.com/Registration/SignIn.asp?n=&org=loudounsouthlittleleaguePlease let me know if you plan to fill it out and I'll help make sure we complete everything to make your volunteering "official".

If you need to contact me, I can be reached via email at   or on my cell at (571) 271-7829.  Again, welcome, and I can't wait to get started on our Spring season!

Thanks,

Brian Kramer
